H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, launched a nationwide initiative titled “Express Your Love for UAE” on Wednesday in UAE.
Conceptualised by the Khalifa Empowerment Programme for Students (Aqdar), the initiative is an opportunity for everyone to express their love and loyalty for the UAE and its leadership and people. "This initiative embraces a new vision that aims to deepen effective communication across the many aspects of the UAE community, both citizens and residents", said General-Coordinator of Aqdar, Colonel Dr. Ebrahim Al Dabal.

Dubai, Abu Dhabi not in top 20 costliest cities in the world: According to Mercer’s 2016 Cost of Living Survey, Dubai is placed 21st and Abu Dhabi takes 25th place in the list of top twenty costliest cities in the world, published by the global consultancy leader, Mercer, Switzerland. Reports say that despite a strong US dollar, the cost of living in Dubai and Abu Dhabi went up only marginally compared to last year. Last year Dubai was in 23rd position and Abu Dhabi was in 33rd position.
Remembering Benazir Bhutto on her 63rd birth anniversary : A group of supporters and close associates of former Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto, gathered in Dubai on the 63rd birth anniversary of their slain leader. She was remembered for her sacrifices for democracy and for the poor people of the country. Bhutto had lived in self-exile in the UAE for about eight years, just months prior to bomb and gun attack in which she died in Rawalpindi on December 27, 2007. Born in 21st June 1953 in Karachi, Pakistan, Bhutto was the first female leader of a Muslim nation and 11th Prime Minister of Pakistan.
